Accepted or feared, denied or worth to be fight for, it is a unique feature of man: this is \u201csocial relation\u201d, the main theme in Camogli from September 10th<\/sup>to 13th<\/sup>2020, <\/strong>at the 7th<\/sup>Communication Festival.<\/p>\n

The well-known Communication Festival, cultural event, now at its 7th<\/sup>Edition, which each year propose a different theme of reflection and debate. Everything is even more special in the extraordinary background ofCamogli.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conceived by Umberto Eco, and direct by Rosangela Bonsignorio and Danco Singer, the Festival is organized by Frame in collaboration with Camogli City Hall. It offers events with free access (until all the seats are occupied).<\/p>\n

The event has been organized in compliance of the new preventive procedures against Covid 19.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SOCIAL RELATION: WHAT IT IS ABOUT<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A delicate theme that reflects the current events. It takes a deeper meaning as it is debated in the year in which social relationship has been denied with the intent to protect as much as possible our safety.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s clarify this.<\/p>\n

Social relation is that particular inclination towards bonds, on the base of compatibility, solidarity inspired by needs, interest or other particular necessities, as for example for defence in situations of conflicts. It is the fundamental of our society, what makes interpersonal relationships possible, and the disposition to understand the other while accepting the differences and to cooperate beyond the family bond.<\/p>\n

There are some people who look for it and cannot live without it, others that try to escape from it, deny it and think of it as a danger to avoid.  <\/p>\n

These considerations will be the starting points for the debate of the Festival, where these ideas will be analysed and further explored in the interventions programmed with over 100 lecturers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

THE EVENT 2020: THE GUESTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Protagonists of the scientific, cultural, technological, artistical, economics, business, show business and entertainment community will debate the theme from different points of view, with different registers. These 4 days of Festival will create a chorus of voices, colours, atmosphere, thoughts and mindsets that will be able to get everyone involved.<\/p>\n

During the presentation it was also announced in sneak peek the winner of the Communication Prize 2020, an acknowledgement for who \u201cthrough different registers was able to inspire a critical thought\u201d. In 2019, the prize was given to Stefano Massini worldwide known novelist, essayist and theatrical author.<\/p>\n

This year the prize has been assigned to RosarioFiorello. <\/strong>The award ceremony will take place on Sunday September 13th<\/sup>at 12.15 pm in Battistone Square.<\/p>\n

Others VIP attending the event will be Piero Angela, Paolo Crepet, Oscar Farinetti, Neri Marcor\u00e8, Peppe Servillo, Claudio Bisio. On the website of Communication Festival, you will find the list of all guests <\/a>that will participate to 2021 Edition.<\/p>\n

THE EVENT 2020: THE PROGRAM<\/p>\n

To better manage the spaces due to the sanitary emergency, all the events require to be booked apart from the one in the main square Piazza Colombo. To guarantee the safety of the audience, the capacity of the square has been reconsidered in order to keep the safety distance. To allow everyone to follow the interviews, they will also be broadcast in streaming.<\/p>\n

THE PODCAST WORLD<\/p>\n

News from last year is the Podcast Festival. This year will be held with a special edition within the Communication Festival 2020. This event is organized by Rai Radio3, the City Hall of Camogli, Audible, Frame and Communication Festival; the Podcast Festival is an interactive and original way to communicate, where words and voices can thrill the audience.<\/p>\n

THE FESTIVAL & HOTEL CENOBIO<\/p>\n

As every year, the majority of the VIP will stay at Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi.<\/p>\n
