What better way to experience this rebirth than by walking <\/span> <strong>Camogli&#8217;s panoramic paths? <\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s discover together which sea-view walks will let you fully appreciate the<\/span> <strong>beauty of Paradise Gulf and its surroundings<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Camogli &#8211; Ruta &#8211; Portofino Vetta &#8211; Ruta\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Difficulty: easy.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trail from Camogli to Ruta is a loop trail suitable for everyone and can be completed in about 2 hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting from Camogli,<\/span><strong> you reach Ruta<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by walking along the road connecting it with the hamlet of San Rocco. From here, continue the route enjoying the splendid panorama of the Golfo Paradiso, and then reach the car park area and take the trail towards <\/span> <strong>Portofino Vetta<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, climbing along the<\/span><strong> Valle dell&#8217;Acqua Fredda<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although fairly steep, this part of the trail is in the shade thanks to the dense vegetation, which protects the route all the way to below the antenna of Monte di Portofino.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Continuing on, you reach the main trail, which connects Portofino Vetta to Portofino Mare. Near the water source, turn left and you will arrive at the former <\/span><b>&#8220;<\/b><strong>Hotel Kulm&#8221;<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a charming historic building from the early 20th century.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to return to Ruta? Follow the downhill path that leads to <\/span> <strong>Via Gaixella<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. At this point, explore the village of Ruta by walking through its caruggi and discovering its points of interest. From here, to continue the itinerary, take the steps to <\/span><strong>Punta Chiappa<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> via the landing place of <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.cenobio.it\/en\/porto-pidocchio-in-camogli-a-small-pearl-to-discover\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Porto Pidocchio<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: a small, characteristic oasis of peace in Paradise Gulf.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alternatively, you can take a downhill path to the left of the Church of San Nicol\u00f2. This is a slightly uneven stretch of path that will take you <\/span><strong>directly to Punta Chiappa, allowing you to enjoy beautiful panoramic views. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the particularities of Punta Chiappa<\/span> is its <strong>conformation<\/strong>,<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> characterised by a strip of sedimentary rock that extends from the promontory towards the sea. Because of their original purpose as a lookout over the Gulf, the Batterie del Parco di Portofino is in a position that offers magnificent views.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you&#8217;re ready to continue, take the trail that leads to the famous<\/span><b> Abbey of San Fruttuoso<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a challenging trail with exposed areas where you must hold on to a safety chain. Consequently, this path is recommended for <\/span><b>experienced hikers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and, given the few areas of shade, we suggest you walk it in the spring months of the year.
